BLF Micro series+

Every time we played one of the new "compact" cabinets, the one thing we noticed is that more time was spent on size and weight and size than tone. These cabinets may be lightweight, but we still used cabinet grade 3/4" birch plywood completely braced, but deliver HUGE tone. With the BLF 112 starting at $349.00 The Doctor delivers the goods again. There is also a 3-way BLF 10.6. and a BLF 4x6 coming very soon.

This a pair of our new BLF 112 Cabinets. These were made for my brother Tony who has severe back problems. The bottom cabinet weigh's all of 28 pounds, (18"h x 17.5"d x 15"w) and then we custom-mounted his GK MB2 head into another BLF 112 and it came out to 33 pounds. The good news is, this rig screams!
Carry one in each hand, strap your bass over your back and you are ready to play!

painstakingly, with trained ears listening intently to every cabinet before it can be shipped. Because demand is strong… and because we are not prepared to compromise our standards, while our goal is to have all orders filled within 2 to 4 weeks, it can sometimes take as much as 90 days or more from the time the order is received until you receive your handcrafted cabinet.

You can always tell the quality of a person or a company by how they treat others. For our Bassplayer Live 08' display, we had an agreement with a "Boutique" amp manufacturer who at the last minute stiffed us, without even contacting us to let us know, (you know who you are!). Our gear and entire display had already been shipped to CA for the show the week before, and there was no possible way to ship anything else from South Carolina to LA on time. To say we were in a very tough spot is an understatement.

Our very own Michael Albronda contacted GK's Jason Finley, who of course consulted with Mr. Bob Gallien and they stepped up to provide us with not only amplification for the show, they even offered speaker switching boxes! I was stunned, to say the least. That they would go out of their way to provide a small company like Dr. Bass with their amps, and especially when they have their own booth at the show is unheard of. This says volumes about the quality, and class of these 2 gentlemen, and the entire GK family.

I have personally owned an original 800RB and MB150E amps for years, and Tony still won't trade either of his 2-1989 1200CEB combos for any other combo amp. Neither Tony or I have ever had a lick of problems with any of them. Reliability and tank-like construction is the hallmark of a GK product. If you call and ask what amps I recommend for Dr. Bass cabinets, GK will be the first name out of my mouth.

Construction

All Dr. Bass products are hand crafted from only the finest materials available and then sprayed with an environmentally safe Pure Polyurea coating applied at 240 with a tensile strength of 3250 lbs. psi, making them the toughest cabs on the Market! No nasty "rat fur". This is the identical material which is used to coat the decks of submarines. This results in not only an extremely tough cabinet, but a surprisingly lightweight one as well. If your cabinet ever gets dirty, just wipe
it off with a damp rag and it will look like new for years to come. The grilles are 18 gauge powder coated steel. Custom cabinets available upon request. (Call or email for quote).

Should you wish to purchase one of our cabinets we try to make it as painless as possible.

1.    Call, or send us an email specifying which model and options suit your needs.

2.    Credit cards are accepted by phone.

3.    Or send a certified check or money order for the entire amount. Personal checks are no longer accepted.

4.    Send us an email with the cabinet with options, and send your credit card information in 2 separate emails.

5. Full payment is required for all in stock cabinets, 1/2 down for cabinets not in stock.

All Shipping is done via insured ground. For international shipments please email country, address and Postal codes, if applicable, and we will send you a shipping quote.

If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with your Dr. Bass Cabinet, just return the cabinet in the original shipping box in resalable condition for a 100% refund less S&H. No questions asked.

NOTE: In the event of shipping damage, we will replace the cabinet free of charge. Should you want a refund, we will make a claim with the shipping company and upon completion of the claim procedure, you will be refunded whatever the shipping insurance covers. .

For all custom cabinet orders, there are no refunds, returns or cancellations on custom cabinets once order has been placed and engineering and construction has begun. No Exceptions.

Warranty

*All Dr. Bass products carry a 1-year "even if you break it" warranty. Simply return the products and we will repair it free of charge. All you pay is the Shipping and Handling. *

* Freight charges and damages caused as a result of major accidents or natural disasters (such as fire, automobile wrecks, tornadoes, drunken roadies, etc.) are excluded from this warranty.

Speakers are covered by the manufacturers warranty. You knew there had to be some fine print somewhere!
