DRB 3-way series.

The DRB 3-way series were designed with the help of many of our loyal customers. It all started with the DRB 1260 when we were asked by a leading amp manufacturer to design 3 cabinets for the 2004 winter NAMM show. Unfortunately, they were damaged in shipping and never made it, but Pandora's box was already opened. After many hours of work and now years of refinements, we present to you what we feel is the new benchmark in full range cabinets. With deep tight lows, mids that will cut through any mix, clean and sparkling, but not overpowering highs, these cabinets will provide you with a clean palate to allow the tone of your bass to come through without unnecessary coloration. All of our 3-way cabinets come with seperate level controls for both the highs and mid frequencies. We have also convienently placed these controls on the right side of the cabinet for easy access. When you combine the tone, features, price and quality Dr. Bass is known for, you will see why the DRB 3- way series are the finest value in high-end bass cabinets on the market.

I could clearly see that this was a superior product both in terms of looks and quality.  Then, once I played it out live this past Saturday night in NYC, I was further convinced that this was a very smart purchase.  The sound quality is freakin' amazing!!!!!  Such clarity in all registers from high to low frequency. DRB 2060

I was amazed at how small and light the 2060 is. I'm glad I went with the neos. I love the spray-on finish. Unlike carpeting (rat fur) that I've been used to for the past several years, I think the spray-on finish has a nice vintage look and feel. With the 2060 I just left the bass in passive mode because I didn't need to do any EQing with either the bass or amp.  I remarked to some friends that I don't need EQ controls any more--I could get by with only a volume control on the bass and amp! DRB 3080

One of the original concepts of Dr. Bass was the lightweight modular system. Over the years we have had many requests for the second cabinet to be built without the tweeter. But for me there was always something missing, and the one thing I noticed was by simply removing the tweeter, the only thing being accomplished was the same exact sound was being duplicated, and while that is not a bad thing, nothing was being added except the additional volume from the 2nd cabinet. The LF series of cabinets were designed to give you the choice of adding a 2nd cabinet to your modular rig but adding additional depth to the overall tone of the rig, no matter which cabinet you choose to put on top of it. And they are even good enough to use as a stand alone rig for a more vintage tone. Either way, The Dr. Bass LF series just gives you another option to design the rig the way YOU want.!
